Henry M. (Walker) Chodzinski 80, of 23821 Grant Road, died at 3:07 a.m. today in SL Joseph's Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was retired from the Studebaker Corp. He was born on Jan. 20, 1902, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident On Sept. 3, 1923, in South Bend he married Mamie Morence, who survives. Other survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Alice Pauszek, Mrs. Lorraine Cielinski, Mrs. Gloria Chlebek, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Irene Szczypiorski of North Liberty; a son, Harry of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Laura Dombrowski, Mrs. Anna Nemeth and Mrs. Lottie Banaszak, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Hildegarde Avery of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and four brothers, John Walker and Clem Walker, both of WaIkerton, Louis Walker of North Liberty and Albert Chodzinski of South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Peil pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday. He was a member of the West Side Democratic and Civic Club.
