SOUTH BEND - Alice Virginia Pauszek, 90, passed away at 10:40 pm Thursday, October 22, 2015, in the Cardinal Nursing Home. Alice was born October 4, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Henry and Mary (Morence) Walker. On June 28, 1947, Alice married Stanley Pauszek Jr., who preceded her in death on March 1, 2008. Survivors include son, Dennis (Sherri) Pauszek of South Bend; granddaughter, Jami Cesavice,; great-granddaughter, Kaylin Pauszek; great-grandson, Jacen Smith; brother, Harry Chodzinski; sisters, Gloria (Don) Chlebek, Lorraine Zie-linski and Irene Szczypior-ski; and several nieces and nephews. Alice enjoyed having Friday "Tea Time" with her sisters. She loved spending time with her husband. She and Stanley would take long drives and motorcycle rides together. Wherever Stanley was, Alice was right by his side. Her granddaughter and great-grandchildren brought her many years of joy and happiness. Visitation for Alice will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. She will be entombed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
