SOUTH BEND - Stanley F. Pauszek Jr., 83, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008, in Memorial Hospital. Stanley was born on February 20, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Mary Pauszek Sr. Stanley was married to Alice (Walker). She survives along with son, Dennis (Sherri); granddaughter, Jami Pauszek; and great-grandchildren, Kaylin Pauszek and Jacen Smith; and a brother, Eugene (Pat) Pauszek. Stanley honorably served in the United States Army during World War II. Stanley was a member of Hallers Post. He was a union carpenter with Local 413, a member of the ZB Conservation Club, and enjoyed racing stock cars and then later motorcycles. He was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008, in the funeral home. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
