SOUTH BEND - Gloria E. Chlebek, 84, passed away July 26, 2016, in Hospice of St. Joseph County. Gloria was born May 21, 1932, in South Bend, to the late Henry and Maime (Morence) Walker. Gloria was also preceded in death by a son, Mark A. Chlebek; brother, Harry Chodzinski; and sister, Alice Pauszek. On April 24, 1954, Gloria married her loving husband of 62 years, Donald Chlebek, who survives along with sons, Dale A. Chlebek and Robert (Janet) Chlebek; 7 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; and sisters, Loraine Zielinski, and Irene Szczypiorski. Gloria was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and basketball and also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Visitation for Gloria is 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where the funeral ceremony to begin at 12:00 pm.
