Frank Konopinski Sr.
July 27, 1875 - February 20, 1948

Frank Konopinski, Sr., aged 72, of Rural Route No. 4, Box 718, South Bend, died at 6:05 am today in his home after an illness of three months. Born in Utica NY, July 27, 1875, he came to South Bend from that city 50 years ago. He was a retired laborer. Surviving are 13 children. Frank Jr., Mrs. Catherine Muszynski, Edward, Mrs. Irene Olivier, Leo, Donald and James, all of South Bend; John and Mrs. Margaret Boggers, both of New Buffalo MI; Theodore, in IL; Louis of Dowagiac MI; Bert, of Lakeville, this county and Mrs. Dorothy Kesner, of Mishawaka; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends may call after 2pm Saturday in the St Joseph Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held at 9am Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church on Dixie Way North with Rev. Walter J. Higgins, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
