SOUTH BEND Irene G. Olivier, 77, of 19649 Palisades Ave., died at 8:17am today in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal.

Mrs. Olivier was born January 25, 1915, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident. On August 29, 1935, in South Bend, as Irene G. Konopinski, she married Valcour S. Olivier. He died in 1985. Surviving are two sons, Harold R. and Laurence E., both of South Bend; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald Konopinski of Syracuse and Bert Konopinski of Lakeville. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Services will be at 10am Thursday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7pm Wednesday in the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, where a wake service will be at 6:30pm Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
