Leo S. Konopinski, 64, of 3420 Northside Blvd., died at 11:40am Sunday in his home after an extended illness. He was retired from Capital Tool after 20 years service. He was born on April 7, 1918, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident. On May 25, 1940, in South Bend, he married Harriet Lechtanski. She survives along with three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Muszynski and Mrs. Irene Olivier, both of South Bend and Mrs. Dorothy Kresner of Mishawaka; and three brothers, Louis of Dowagiac, Bert of Lakeville and Donald of Syracuse. Services will be conducted at 9am Wednesday at St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, with Rev Robert A. Yast, pastor, officiating. Entombment will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday
