Granger - Susan Marie Kyle, 74, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 in her residence. Sue was born in Mishawaka, IN, to C.A. and Ann Soens, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 27, 1967, she married Bob Kyle, who survives along with two sons, Dave (Betsy) Kyle and Dan (Becki) Kyle; and three grandchildren, Maggie, Lucy and Zachary. Sue graduated from Penn High School, attended Ball State, and graduated from South Bend College of Commerce. Sue worked as an executive secretary for the vice president of human resources at Elkhart General Hospital for 18 years. Sue enjoyed working in the yard, especially in her flower gardens. Throughout the years, Sue and Bob enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and taking trips on their motorcycle. She also played cards once a month with the same five girlfriends for 38 years. Her cherished memories were of the times she spent with her grandchildren, whether it was in Granger, Texas or Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530.
