Mrs. Rose Layman, aged 69, of New Carlisle, this county, widow of Michael Layman, died at 2:15 a.m. today in her home. She was born July 16, 1870, in Poland and came to this country 46 years ago. Surviving are two sons, George Layman, New Carlisle, and Louis Layman, Michigan City, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Polcyn, Michigan City; Mrs. Verna Barts, South Bend; Mrs. Louise Jysson, Santa Monica, Calif., and Mrs. Agnes Hushower, Buchanan, Mich.; five stepchildren, Mrs. Pauline Klosinski, Michigan City; Jacob Layman and Mrs. Celia Urban, Michigan City; Roy Layman, Rolling Prairie, this county, and Martin Layman, New Carlisle; her mother, Mrs. Frances Kazimerczak, South Bend; 26 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Kruszewski, South Bend, and two brothers, George and Stephen Kazimerczak, South Bend.
