M. LAYMAN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
New Carlisle Resident, Father of 13 Children, Several of Whom Live in This City, Expires
Michael Layman, of New Carlisle, died suddenly at 8:15 oclock Sunday morning of heart trouble. He was born on Aug. 15, 1852. Surviving him are his widow, seven daughters, Mrs. Thomas Klosinski, Mrs. Alex Urban, Mrs. Francis Polson, and Mrs. Raymond Sobeski, of Michigan City; Mrs. Louise Jepson, of Los Angeles, California.; Miss Verna Layman, of South Bend; and Miss Agnes Layman, of New Carlisle; six sons, Ernest, of New Carlisle; Louis and Jake, of Michigan City; and Martin, George and Roy, of New Carlisle; 20 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. The funeral will take place at 10 oclock Thursday morning in New Carlisle.
