[N1321] Mrs. Frances Polcyn: (Michigan City News Dispatch 10/15/1949)

LAPORTE - Mrs. Frances Polcyn, 32, Maple, died yesterday afternoon at 3:50 p.m. in Fairview hospital following a short illness. She was 52 years old. Mrs. Polcyn was born Sept. 14, 1897, at Saugany lake, and has lived in this vicinity all of her life. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic church. Funeral services will take place in the church at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. Rev. Theo Fettig will officiate. Burial will be St. John Cantius cemetery. Rosary will be said for the deceased at 7:45 p.m. Monday at home. She is survived by four daughters - Rose Bentley, Mary Wojciechawski, and Betty Sobieski, all of LaPorte, and Rommie Gabel of California; three grandchildren; four brothers - George Layman, Hudson lake; Roy, Rolling Prairie and Louis and Jake, both of this city; five sisters - Mrs. Beina Barts, South Bend; Louise Tebson, Sacramento, Calif.; Agnes Hushower, Buchanan, Mich., and Ceil Urban and Pauline Kolinski, both of this city. Three brothers, one sister and her parents preceded her in death.
