Their last residence was Tomarzew, Poland, and their destination was South Bend, IN. Wladyslawa had a sister, Franciszka Koziel, living in Poland.

Joseph Stempin, 33, had arrived at Ellis Island two and a half years earlier, Jan. 19, 1921, on the ship "Rotterdam", and his destination was the home of his brother, Martin Stempin living at 604 Olive St., South Bend, IN.
