South Bend- William C. Banicki Sr., 90, formerly of 728 S. Webster St. Died
at 5am Sunday in Marion Manor Nursing Home, Taunton, Mass. Mr. Banicki
retired in 1967, as a salesman for Elkhart Packing Co. He was born Oct.25,
1900 in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of his life. On May 19, 1925
he married Nettie Dygulski. She died Sept 11, 1971. He is survived by a
daughter Justine Sheehan of Raynham, Mass; a son William Jr. of Los Angeles;
five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; A daughter Loretta Zack
died in 1988.
Services will be at 9am Tuesday in St. Casimer's Catholic Church. Burial
will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today in
Kaniewski Funeral home where the parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
