July 31, 1922 Sept. 8, 1994 SOUTH BEND Chester C. Cichowicz, 72, of Parkway, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in St. Josephs Medical Center of natural causes. Mr. Cichowicz retired from Torrington Co. He was born July 31, 1922, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On May 18, 1946, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Gorney. She survives with two sons, Ronald and Dennis, both of South Bend, a grandchild; and a sister, Wanda Fujawa of South Bend. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 357. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
