Mrs. Mary R Leda, 63, of 1816 Florence Ave, died at 4 a.m. today in her home after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Leda was born in South Bend on Aug 3, 1900. She was married to John Leda on Jan 19, 1921. He survives. Also surviving are four sons. Anthony of Mishawaka, Chester, Ernest and Paul all of South Bend, five daughters Mrs. Dorthy Kluszcynski and Mrs Theresa Szczypski both of South Bend. Mrs. Joan Ferraro of Mishawaka. Mrs. Nancy Kenick and Miss Lucille Leda both of Chula Vista, CA, three brothers, Aloysius, Stanley and Joseph Makowski all of South Bend, two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Dombrowski of South Bend and Mrs. Helen Furby of Winchester, IN and 21 grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the St. Stanislous Catholic Church with Rev Signumd A Jankowski C.S.C pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
