John Anthony Leda, 68 of 1816 Florence Ave, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Healthwin Hospital after a prolonged illness. Born in South Bend on July 6, 1896 he married Mary Makowski on Jan 19, 1921. She died last Nov 6. He is survived by four sons. Anthony of Mishawaka, Chester, Ernest and Paul all of South Bend, five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kluszcynski, Mrs. Theresa Szczypki and Miss Lucy Leda all of South Bend, Mrs. J Ann Ferraro of Mishawaka and Mrs Nancy Kemick of Chula CA. On the death certificate it list his parents as Steve Leda and mother unknown. Per Find-A-Grave member
