Roy F. Varda, age 72 of Wyckoff died Sunday, March 8, 1998 at the Valley Hospital, Ridegwood. Born in Mishawaka, IN., he was a resident of Wyckoff for 33 years. Mr. Varda was a salesman for Telemetrix Inc. for 4 years. Prior he worked for Panasonic Corp. of Secaucus for 8 years and retired from RCA Broadcast Systems in 1985. We was a W.W. II Army Air Force veteran. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church. Surviving are his Wife and Best Friend, Teresa (Pajakowski) Varda, 2 Daughters, Cecile & Martin Bacola of Vernon, and Carol & Doug Jr. Hill of Waldwick. 3 Sons, Michael & Adriane of Jefferson, Paul of Tempe, AZ and John & Kathleen of New Fairfield, CT. 4 Sisters, Charlottle Stockbridge of Goshen, IN., Mary Weber, Norma Spychalski and Catherine Bashore all of Mishawaka, IN. 5 Brothers, Ernest of Greenbelt, MD., James, Lawrence and Lester of South Bend, IN., Joseph of Mackinaw, Ill. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren, Daniel, Melissa, Scott Varda, Gina, Anthony Bacola and Lydon, Shawna, Chelsea Fitzgerald. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Susan Fitzgerald of Tempe, AZ. in 1990. Funeral Service Friday 9:30 A.M. from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, N.J.Funeral Mass 10 A.M. from St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave. Wyckoff, N.J. 07481.
