SOUTH BEND - Vera H. Nemeth, 79, of North Johnson Street, died at 7:15pm Friday in St Joseph Medical Center. Mrs. Nemeth was born January 19, 1914, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident. On November 14, 1932, as Vera H. Walkowski, she married John L. Nemeth. He died May 12, 1988.Surviving are two sons, John R. and Ronald J., both of South Bend; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Jennie Swiental and Stella Chelminiak, both of South Bend. She was a member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church.Services will be at 10am Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Monday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 6:30pm.
