Elizabeth M. Bartoszewicz, 88, of New Carlisle, passed away on Friday, September 15, in Hamilton Grove Community, New Carlisle. Elizabeth was born on April 11, 1918, in LaPorte, and was raised by Jacob and Laura Bladecki. In June 1937, she married Edward Bartoszewicz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; and by three sons, Norbert, Gilbert and Francis. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann (Sam) Katz and Veronica (Michael) Couts, both of South Bend, and Cynthia (Richard) Mahnesmith of Edwardsburg, MI; three sons, Eugene, Kenneth (Lisa) Bartoszewicz, both of New Carlisle, and Patrick (Joni) Bartoszewicz of Saugany Lake, IN; three daughters-in-law, Luann, Julie and Constance; 10 grandchildren, Michael Katz, Julie (John) Tafelski, Debra (Andrew) Mrozinski, Kelly (Marc) Mrozinski, David, Kenneth Jr., Justin, Laura, Lori and Edward (Melissa) Bartoszewicz; four step-grandchildren, Stephen Nicholas, Adam Scott, Tammy (Sam) Boys and Brian (Jill) Mahnesmith; 11 great-grandchildren, Tanner, Gabrielle and Marisa Tafelski, Aaron and Emily Mrozinski, Jacob Mrozinski, Joseph and Elizabeth Bartoszewicz, Craig and Jeffery Bartoszewicz, and Dustin Bartoszewicz; 10 step-great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Troy Lower, Zachary and Shelby Mahnesmith, Marc, Austin and Jordan Mrozinski, Caleb, Evan and Jacob Boys; and by two siblings, Josephine Szczypiorski of California and Anthony Bladecki of New Carlisle.
