Mrs Emanual J Pendl, aged 70, of 1422 West Washington Ave, died at 12:20 a.m. today in her home, after a week's illness with a heart ailment. She was born in Germany April 12 1869, and came her from that country 54 years ago. She was married here in st Hedwige's Roman Catholic church in 1887 to Emanuel J. Pendl who survives. She leaves also four duaghters, Mrs Mary Washnoch and Mrs Joseph Kurtcz, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs Edward Eichstedt and Mrs Ben Deyerling of this city; a son, Joseph Pendl, South Bend, and a sister Mrs Eleanor Wroblewski, South Bend.
Julia's polish/german name was Juliana Sopczynska. She was the daughter of Jan(John) Sopczynski and Anna Sopczynska.
