John Sopczynski, aged 81 years died this morning at 3 o'clock, as the results of a three week illness. He had lived in South Bend since 1885. Besides his wife Anna, two sons and two daughters survive. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from St Hedwidg's Catholic church and burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.Children of Jan and Anna Sopczynski were Frank, Joseph, Julia (Mrs. Emanuel Pendl), Eleanor (Mrs. John J. Wroblewski) and Leon Spoczynski.
