Julius is son to Stephen Farkas (from Homokszentgyorgy, Hungary) and Catherine Radics (from Bolho, Hungary) and great-grandson to Stephen Farkas and Anna (Maczki) Farkas from Trojeglava, Hungary. Julius A. Farkas (Sept. 16, 1912-May 21, 1995).
SOUTH BEND - Julius A. Farkas, 82, of Cooper Township, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. Mr. Farkas was born Sept. 16, 1912, in South Bend, and moved to Cooper Township in 1965. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Farkas of Cooper Township; two sons, Julius of Granger and David of South Bend; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his brother, Stephen of Ann Arbor.

Services will be at 2 p.m. (Michigan time) Wednesday in Rupert, Durham, Marshall & Gren Plainwell (Mich.) Chapel. Burial will be in East Cooper Cemetery, Cooper Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Association.
