SOUTH BEND - Carrie Nowak, 91, of Healthwin Hospital, formerly of Rogers St., died at 1 a.m. Saturday at the hospital. Mrs. Nowak was born March 4, 1902,in Lakeville. On May l1, 1925, in South Bend, she married Mike A. Nowak. He died Aug. 18, 1968.
Surviving are a daughter, Lucille D. Radecki of South Bend; two sons, Eugene and Michael, both of South Bend; 26 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Confraternity of the Holy Rosary, Apostleship of Prayer and Polish Women's Alliance Group 305. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m.
