John Botka age 65 of 1607 Sibley Ave. passed away Sunday morning at his home following a years illness. He was born in Poland 6/24/1865 and had lived in South Bend for 49 years comming from his home country. Surviving are his wife Frances; Children Sylvester, Louis, Edward, Leo, and Walter Botka; Mrs Mary Olejniczak, Josephine Bajdek, and Mrs Hattie Chiodzinski. Also a sister Mrs Teofilia Wozniak. Funeral at St Stanislaus B & M burialto follow at St Josephs Polish Catholic Cemetery. Published South Bend Tribune 9/22/1930
