Velma M. Conjalka, 70, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in Pompano Beach. Born July 18, 1914 in South Bend, she lived here most of her life, moving to Florida about 20 years ago. She is survived by her husband, John F. Conjalka; and three sisters, Anna Zsedely, Mary Pajor and Irma Baichley, and a brother, Rudolph Kertai, all of South Bend. Mas of the Resurrection will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Coleman Catholic Church, Pompano Beach. Cremation will take place and interment will be in South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Baird-Case Funeral Home, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
