LAKEVILLE -- Jeffery D. Bennett , 50, residing in Lakeville, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, December 13, 2006 at his place of work, Honeywell Corporation. Jeff was born on February 18, 1956, in South Bend and has been a lifelong resident. On October 13, 1989, in Plymouth, he married the former Sue A. Fox, who survives. Along with his wife, Sue, survivors include three daughters, Summer (Terry) Stepp of Plymouth, Jessica (Randy Zawacki) O'Grady of Lakeville, and Leah Bennett of Lakeville; four grandchildren, Anthony Hatter, T.J. Stepp, Mason Stepp and McKenzie Stepp with one on the way; his mother, Betty L. Bennett of Lakeville; one sister, Jennifer (Jim) Olsen of Lakeville; and two nieces, Lisa (Rocky) Plummer and sons, and Lori (Jesse) Stafford and sons. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Bennett. Jeff worked at Honeywell Corporation anodizing aircraft landing gear. He was a member of the Lakeville Conservation Club. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He loved spending time at his lake home with family and friends. Jeff was a member of the Foxwood Hills Community Association, Middlebury. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. Rev. Ed Erskin will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 17th at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville.
