[N520] John indicated that he was a time keeper in a factory in 1910. When John married Mildred Hayes, she already had at least one child - Gene Paul Hayes. John also noted that he had been married before and that his first wife had died 7-18-1948 (this is almost the same date that Mildred shows as getting divorced from her fist husband). He listed his occupation as a decorator. Gene is mentioned in John's obit.

John S Rydzinski

John S Rydzinski, 75 of 710 Miner St. died at 5:30 A.M. Sunday in his home. He was a retired painter. Born on April 18, 1889 in South Bend, he married Mildred Hayes on October 16, 1948. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Marvel of Mishawaka and Raynold of South Bend; a stepson Gene Paul Hayes, South Bend; two daughters. Mrs. Genevieve Lamirand and Mrs. Domecilla Vosburgh. both of South Bend; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother Theodore, South Bend and three sisters, Miss Josephine Rydzinski, Mrs. Frances Wlodarski and Mrs. Selma Nowicki, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 P.M. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Cremation will take place. Friends may call 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.
