Fred Bender who married Lulu May Nusbaum in 1914. They were divorced after
the birth of their only daughter, Eloise Fay, in 1914 in Wakarusa. Family
states he was originally from New Jersey, but nobody knows for sure, since he
was just a brief blurb in Lulu May's life. She remarried to Milo Meloy in
Elkhart County in 1918. Lulu was born in 1888, so I would assume Fred Bender
to be somewhat of the same age. Let me know what you all know!!!
