LAPORTE - Mr. Dean E. Runkle, 79, of Green Valley, Arizona and formerly of LaPorte passed away at 4:30 am Thursday August 29, 2013 at St Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was born May 30, 1934 in Rochester, Indiana to Edgar and Mary (Duey) Runkle. A funeral service will be at 11 am (La Porte time) Monday September 9, 2013 at Essling Funeral Home with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6 pm (La Porte time) Sunday at Essling Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Pine Lake Cemetery.
