SOUTH BEND - Bonnie Switalski, 91, of South Bend died Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born May 3, 1926 in Edina, Missouri to the late Erma (Richardson) and Melvile Brees. On July 26, 1958 in South Bend, she married Roland Switalski, who preceded her in death in 2016. Also preceding her were sisters, Aris Moore, Dorothy Snell, and Helen Mcelfresh. Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Susan A. Snider (Jack Eldridge) of South Bend; son, Brian Switalski (Jamie Cashatt) of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Ashley Hallahan (Justin), Shelbey Snider (Justin), Nichol Switalski, and Laurence Switalski; 2 great-grandchildren, Camerian J. and Christopher J. Hallahan; and one sister, Joan McFarland of Kirksville, Missouri. Bonnie was the co-owner of Myers & Wynn TV for 25 years and a longtime member of the Red Hat Society. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
