Gertrude Slisz age 79, of 440 S. Chicago St. died at 2 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, she lived here all her life. On June 1, 1925 in South Bend, as Gertrude Kubiak she married Clem Slisz who died in November of 1980. Surviving are two daughters, Eugenia Mazurkiewicz of Mishawaka and Elaine DeCook of South Bend; two sons Daniel of Ettersville, Ind. and Melvin Sr. of South Bend; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grand children; four sisters, Regina Glon, Betty Soos, Clementine Nye, Esther De Witt all of South Bend and two brothers Casimir Kubiak and Eugene Kubiak, both of South Bend.
Friends may call from 2p.m to 9 p.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel, where arrangements are being completed
