Mrs. Vincent Kubiak

Services for Mrs. Constance Kubiak, 84, of 749 Phillipa St., who died at 2pm Tuesday in St Josephs Hospital after a short illness, will be held at 10am Saturday in St Adalberts Catholic Church. Rev. John Moskal, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

Mrs. Kubiak was born on February 14, 1884, in Poland. Her husband, Vincent, preceded her in death in 1952. Surviving are two sons, Cashmer and Eugene, both of South Bend, six daughters, Mrs. Clem Slisz, Mrs. Regina Glon, Mrs. Barbara Soos, Mrs. Anthony Nye, Mrs. August DeWitt, all of South Bend and Mrs. Charles May of Donnell Lake MI; 25 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson; six brothers, John, Alex and Edward Celichowski, all of South Bend, and Leo Celichowski of Donnell Lake, and Frank Celichowski of Mottville MI, and Anthony of Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Robakowski and Mrs. Lottie Stroszewski both of South Bend. Friends maycall form 6 to 9pm today and all day Friday at the Hickey Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today.
