Mishawaka - Claudine Hoorinks, 90, of Mishawaka, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday evening, September 16, 2018. Born in South Bend, IN Claudine lived most of her life in Mishawaka, IN. She worked at Ball Band and retired from the University of Notre Dame. Claudine loved to dance, golf, and travel as frequently as possible. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and often bragged that she had the best one in the world. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Yandl (Donald) and Peggy Buraczewski (Thomas); granddaughters, Amy Jennings (Bruce Routson) and Kristen Jones (Gary Stanfield); great grandchildren, Rachel Jennings, Abby Jones, Megan Jennings, Maria Jones, Dominic Jennings and Mallory Jones. Claudine was preceded in death by her mother and father Genevieve (Kubiak) and Charles May, and companion of 31 years Albert Paridaen. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
The family would like to thank all of the Hospice doctors and nurses as well as the Bell Tower staff; specifically, Maralee and Kristy, for the great love and care they provided to Claudine in her last year of life.
