Ike Banicki
Funeral Mass was said for Ike Banikci, 77, in St. Charles Catholic Church Coldwater, on Wednesday, April 13. the Rev. Fr. Gilbert Gruss had charge of the service. The Rosary was said the previous evening at the Baggerly Funeral Home, Coldwater. Ike Banicki of route 2 died Easter Sunday in the Health Center, Colwater, following an illness of two days. He was born November 9, 1888, in Hastings, Minn., as son of Marcin and Magdelena Banicki. His
wife Anna (Michalski) Banicki, preceeded him in death December 27, 1965. Before moving to Branch County 14 years ago, he had been employed at the Singer Sewing Company in South Bend, Indiana. He was last employed as a night watchman at the Hillsdale Mfg. Company. He was a member of the American Legion of Coldwater and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. George Beauchamp and two brothers, Peter and William, all of South Bend, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Ike Banicki
BRONSON-Ike Banicki, 77, Bronson route 2 and formerly of 26 North Clay St., Coldwater, died at the Community health center Sunday evening following a sudden illness. He had been a patient two days. Funeral services will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Fr.
Gilbert Gruss in charge. Rosary will be said by Rev. Fr. Gruss at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Baggerly funeral home. He was born in Hastings, Minn., Nov. 9, 1888, a son of Marcin and Magdelena Banicki. His wife Anna Michalski Banicki died Dec. 27, 1965. For many years he was employed at the Singer Sewing Company of South Bend, Ind.
