Ernest H. Paczkowski, 74, of 1522 W. Dunham St., died early Saturday morning in his home. he had retired in 1979 from Bendix Corp. Born Feb. 13, 1914, in south Bend, he lived here his lifetime. On Nov. 21, 1940, in South Bend, he married Virginia Maciejewski. She died Feb 20, 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Debra Ann Popa of Lafayette, Ind.; five sons, Ronald Page and Gregory Paczkowski, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Daniel, Terry and Timothy, all of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Florence Chmiel of South Bend; and two brothers, Richard and Leo, both of South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the St. Joseph funeral Home where two rosaries will be recited; one at 2:30 p.m. by the Senior Citizens, of which he was a member, and one at 7:30 p.m. by the parish and Holy Name Society, of which he was a member. He was also a member of St. Joseph Young Men's Society of St. Casimir's Church
