Julian E. Paczkowski

Julian E. Paczkowski, 721 South Brookfield street, died in route to St. Joseph hospital at 8 a.m. Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while at work in the Singer Manufacturing plant. Born in South Bend June 4, 1883, he was employed as a woodworker. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Chmiel, three sons, Ernest, Leo and Richard; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Michalak and Mrs. Lottie Michalak; two brothers, Joseph and Ignatius, all of South Bend and eight grandchildren. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in the residence. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Adalbert's Catholic church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Mr. Paczkowski was a member of the Guard of St. Stanislaus society of St. Adalbert's church.South Bend Tribune Obituary June 6, 1951
