NEW CARLISLE - Annabelle Nagy, 82, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away Saturday June 15, 2013, in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle. She was born on December 20, 1930, in Elkhart, IN, to the late John and Arvilla (Dyer) Simmons. On May 22, 1948, she married John Nagy, Jr., who preceded her in death on October 11, 2010. Also preceding her in death was her half brother, Jack Dyer. Annabelle is survived by her daughters, Rosemary (Timothy) Messer of Mishawaka, IN, Barbara Lawson, Linda (Gary) Curless and Betty (Randy) Szczypiorski; her son Steve (LaDonna) Nagy, all of New Carlisle; 6 grandchildren, Dale Nagy, Monica Flagg, Angela Deutscher, Garrett Curless and Scott and Jeffrey Szczypiorski; seven great-grandchildren, Dale Nagy, Jr., Morgan and Lauren Flagg, Rachael Clayton and Chloe and Emma Deutscher; and by her sister, Dorothy Kropf of Goshen, IN. Mrs. Nagy retired from Easy Heat, New Carlisle, in 1996, after 33 years of employment. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday June 21, 2013, in the St. Stans Kostka, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the Mass.
