Obituary from p. 35 of the 4 OCT 1953 edition of the “South Bend Tribune”:

. Louis J. Ridecki [sic. - Radecki], 121 Sadie St., died at 5:30 a, m, Saturday in his residence. He was born Nov. 12. 1876, in Otis, Ind., and came to South Bend as a child, Surviving are his widow, Sophie; three daughters, Mrs. Clementine Henclewski, South Bend; Sister Mary Perseverence, Mobile, Ala., and Sister Mary Grace, Neenah, Wis.; four sons, Walter, Leo, Bernard and Stephen; two brothers, David and John; three sisters, Mrs. Veronica Philman, Mrs. Mary Adamski and Mrs. Katherine Kithowski. all of South Bend: 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call in the St. Joseph Funeral Home after 4 p. m. today. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. h Tuesday in St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church with Rev. Sigmund Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish it Cemetery

. RADECKI - The name of Louis J. Radecki, 121 Sadie St., who died Saturday, was misspelled in the obituary column Sunday. Also misspelled were the names of two of his sisters, Mrs. Veronica Thilman and Mrs. Katherine Kitkowski. The funeral will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church.
