JOHN (BEN) MIKULA GRAND JUNCTION, CO John (Ben) Mikula, 96, passed away February 11, 2011 in Grand Junction, CO. He was born April 17, 1914 in Johnstown, PA. He spent many happy years of retirement in Saugatuck, MI fishing and golfing. John is survived by daughter, Maxine (Rick) Schafer of Grand Junction, CO; grandchildren: Tim (Denise) Short of Mill Creek, IN, Michael Schest of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Mikula of Rensselaer, IN, Christy (John) Haws of Chesterton, IN, Jennifer Mikula of Zionsville, IN, and Stephen Johnson of Chesterton, IN; great grandchildren: Sandra Schest of Chicago, IL, Brendan, Wesley, and Aiden Short of Mill Creek, IN, Matthew Taylor of Las Vegas, NV, and Evan and Mya Haws of Chesterton, IN; son-in-law, Don Short of Mill Creek, IN; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Mikula of Rensselaer, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
