Nancy was the daughter of Antonio Merlo - she arrived in the US - August 16, 1913 on the ship PATRIS at the Port of New York. Her destination was Marion, OH. She met and married Rosario Molica. They lived in Hammond & Michigan City, IN -finally locating to Niles, MI where they raised their Eleven Children: Nicolette "Nellie or Nicki" (McElroy), Philip F, Joan "Jennie" (Imus), Anthony "Tony", Henry B, Frank Rosario, Filamina "Fanny" (Probst), Alfred Frederick, Bernard "Benny", Mary Ann (Curtis) & Robert J Molica. At the time of Nancy's passing - she was the grandmother of 70 and the great grandmother to 20. Nancy gained her United States Citizenship in 1943. The Molicas were a BLUE STAR family during WW II - having FIVE Sons serving our country. Rosario & Nancy are buried at Calvary Cemetery in Niles, MI. Submitted by Anita Frucci Rodgers
