Charles Joseph VanTornhout, 66, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in his home. Charles was born in Mishawaka on August 5, 1955, to the late Charles and Marion (Vandervelt) VanTornhout. On April 26, 1993, in Poplar Bluff, MO, he married the former Cindy Carver who survives. Also surviving are his children, Charles (Janice) VanTornhout, Tracey Carver, Stacey VanTornhout, Corey VanTornhout and Arriell VanTornhout; siblings, Christine Abke, Rene (Karen) VanTornhout and Michael (Debbie) VanTornhout; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, February 22nd in Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka with visitation 2 hours prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VanTornhout Family c/o Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544 to help offset the funeral cost.
