MISHAWAKA - Linda Vanderbeke Turner, former resident of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away in her home in San Diego, California. Linda attended elementary school in Mishawaka, graduated from Mishawaka High School and Indiana University. She worked most of her life as a Dental Hygenist in Indiana and California. 4 years ago she changed careers and became an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist working with mouth and jaw issues, especially in children. She is survived by her son, Robert Vanderbeke Turner (Vander), her husband, Russell, her sister, Patricia Naylor-Goodwin, her loving aunt, Jane Mittleman, and numerous cousins. No services are planned, but donations may be made in her name to Linda's favorite charity, Clean Water for Africa, and the San Diego Zoo. Published in South Bend Tribune on Oct. 20, 2017
