Services for Orreim M. (Ornie) Weimer, 64, of 1627 Burnham Drive, who died at 9:48 p.m. Monday in South Bend Osteopathic Hospital after a one-year illness, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice. Mr. Weimer was born in Mishawaka on Aug. 7, 1920, and was a lifetime area resident. In 1981, he retired as a truck driver for White Farm Equipment Co., South Bend, after 32 years of service. On Feb. 2, 1949, in Mishawaka, he married Minnie M. Getha, who died on March 22, 1973.
Survivors include five daughters, Rita Weimer and Toni Edwards, both of Tucson, Ariz., Martha Overmyer of South Bend, Marsha Ashley of Niles, and Rose Marie; a son, Orreim Weimer Jr. of South Bend; six grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Clemens of Mishawaka; and a brother, George P. Weimer of Rotunda West, Fla.
