Bettie I. Cholasinski, 95, passed away at 11:20 am, Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Cass County Medical Care Faculty. Bettie was born June 15, 1920 in Ashland, WI to the late Frank and Anna Bloomquist. Bettie was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Cholasinski and daughter, Kay Lippert; nine brothers, Ray, Eugene, Claude, Carl, Arthur, Conrad, Allan, George, and Robert; and three sisters, Ethel, Alice, and Mildred. Bettie is survived by her daughter, Ann (Dennis) Prout of North Liberty, IN; and sons, William (Diane) Lippert of South Bend, IN, and James (Jeny) Lippert of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Mike, Steve, Matt, Eric, Casey, Kimberly, Tyler, Alicia, Christian, James, and Jessica; and 10 great-grandchildren. Bettie retired from Notre Dame in 1989. She was a parishioner at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Elkhart, IN. She was a member of the PNA, ZB Falcon's and Notre Dame Alumni Association. She loved playing the piano and Notre Dame Football. She enjoyed having a Martini at 3:00pm everyday. She also enjoyed fishing and being at the lake. Funeral Ceremony is 1pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd, South Bend, IN. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
