SOUTH BEND - Marjorie M. Sepanek, 88, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015, at the Sanctuary at St. Paul's, South Bend. She was born on October 6, 1926, in Chicago, IL, to the late Willard George and Marceille (Bouchette) Blake. On October 30, 1948, in Plymouth, IN, she married Robert F. Sepanek, who preceded her in death on October 18, 2014. Mrs. Sepanek is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Perla Sepanek of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Nubia and Leila; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jack (Sharon) Blake of Rolling Prairie, IN; sister-in-law, Lorraine Donovan of South Bend, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Her son, Bryan Sepanek, preceded his mother in death on November 2, 2009. Mrs. Sepanek lived in Mishawaka in the 1940s, moving to South Bend in 1952, and remained a longtime resident. She retired in October 1995 after twenty years at the information desk at Scottsdale Mall. Marjorie was a longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the St. Jude Rosary Society, Studebaker "Mary Ann Club" and a volunteer at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00-10:30 a.m. prior to Mass at church. A private burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend, is assisting with arrangements. Mrs. Sepanek's family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul's for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marjorie M. Sepanek may be donated to St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, IN 46614.
