SOUTH BEND - Garry A. Zakrocki, 57, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, May 25th, in his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Zakrocki was born on December 16, 1953, in South Bend, and had resided in the area his lifetime. He is survived by his mother, Ellen L. Zakrocki, and a sister, Pamela S. (Jon) Myers, both of Mishawaka, IN, and a brother, Dennis L. (Linda) Bradford of San Marcos, TX. Also, several nieces and nephews survive. Garry was preceded in death by his father, Clarence A. Zakrocki, and a brother, Earl W. Bradford. Mr. Zakrocki retired from the U.S. Postal Service, having worked at the Edison Road Post Office. When I came to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I remember The love that we have shared and that will comfort thee. Garry's wishes were to be cremated, which his family honored.
