Mishawaka, IN-Ginger Butchko, 80, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Majestic Care of Fort Wayne. Ginger was born on February 15, 1940, to the late John Zeitler and Jean (Erhardt) VanBelleghm. Ginger is also preceded in death by sisters, Jean Talbot and Joyce McDowell; brother, John Zeitler; former husband, James Butchko and longtime partner, Don Lambert. Ginger is survived by her children, James “Jim” (Loretta) Butchko Jr. of Irving, TX, Scott Butchko of Mishawaka, Andrew Knight (Anthony Cisneros) of South Bend, Chad Butchko of Mishawaka and Todd (Karen) Butchko of South Bend; grandchildren, L.J., Kyle and Addison Butchko. Ginger was a member of the Eagles Erie 235 Ladies Aux South Bend, Elkhart Moose Chapter #73 Ladies Aux and Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend. Visitation will be held 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Monday, December 14, 2020, at Hahn Funeral Home 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Vale officiating. Ginger will be laid to rest following the service in Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
