INDEX

[N19866] Paul F. Locsi
Feb. 2, 1949 - Oct. 1, 2018
NORTH WEBSTER, IN - Paul F. Locsi, 69, of North Webster, Indiana passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 in his home. He was born on February 2, 1949 in South Bend, IN, to the late Paul and Clementine (Nowacki) Locsi. Paul is survived by his daughter, Dr. Dena (Dan) Garnett of Granger, Indiana; long-time companion, Connie Jackson; two grandchildren, Elowen and Emilia Garnett; two brothers, David (Martha) Locsi of Mishawaka, Indiana and Jim (DeeAnne) Locsi of Lakeville, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Judy Locsi. He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Locsi. Paul graduated from Washington High School in 1967 where he played football as an all-conference lineman and team co-captain. He continued his football career playing semi-pro in Michigan. With the help of family, he built a home on Lake Webster where many cherished memories were made, both with family and the many friends who visited over the years. He worked for Freeman-Spicer and Avanti early on in his career, retiring from Utilimaster after many years as a purchasing agent. His love for old cars was evident and he enjoyed tinkering around with anything with a motor. He had a kind, giving nature and was sure to help any neighbor in need, be it an errand run, lawn mowed, or snow plowed. He cherished his two granddaughters and loved showing them the lake he so loved. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN 46628. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care in Paul's honor. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com. Published in South Bend Tribune on Oct. 4, 2018
