SOUTH BEND - Clementine A. Locsi, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Hospice House in South Bend. Clementine was born June 26, 1927, in South Bend to Frank A. and Pelagia "Blanche" (Kujawa) Nowacki. She was a homemaker and had retired from the Dry Cleaning Industry after 20 years. On May 10, 1947, Clementine married Paul L. Locsi, who preceded her in death on June 14, 1990. Surviving are her sons, Paul F. Locsi of North Webster, Indiana, Thomas L. (Judy) Locsi of South Bend, David A. (Martha) Locsi of Mishawaka, Indiana, James M. (Deeanne) Locsi of Lakeville, Indiana; grandchildren, Amber (Brandon) Watson, Adam, Dena, Kristin, David, Shea and Brittany Locsi; sisters, Veronica (Jim) Kopczynski of South Bend, Helen Ornat of South Bend, Leona Bentkowski of South Bend; sister-in-law, Aurelia Nowacki of South Bend; and a brother, Elgin (Gertrude) Nowacki of South Bend; a special friend, Gene Kujawski and her caregiver and friend Connie. Sisters, Alexandria and Francine and brothers, Edward, Alexander, Ted, Stanley and John Nowacki all preceded her in death. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a parish rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
