SOUTH BEND - Beloved wife and mother, Constance A. Klipich, 83, passed away peacefully at 7:05 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. Connie was born on July 27, 1929 in Tyner, IN to Leo and Hattie (Waletzko) Taberski. She was employed by Uniroyal for 40 years and a member of the Uniroyal Ladies Club. As a devout Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church, the St. Ann Society, Sacred Heart & Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella, Notre Dame Circle #572. On October 30, 1948 she married Richard D. Klipich, Sr. He died on February 25, 1999. Connie was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Mathes and Virginia Kish and two brothers, Robert L. Taberski and Gerald Taberski. Surviving are her three devoted and loving children: daughter, Susan (Bill) Dominiak of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and sons, Richard Klipich, Jr. of Leesburg, FL and Steven Klipich of Amarillo, TX; 5 wonderful grandchildren, Daniel (Natasha) Klipich, Dr. Coleman (Gretchen) Dominiak, Beau (Monica) Dominiak, Richard Klipich III and Misty Smith; 4 great-grandchildren, Jordan Klipich, Olivia Grace Klipich, George Dominiak and Kate Dominiak; her loving sister, Leona Kintz of South Bend, cherished nieces, nephews, and their wonderful families. Connie enjoyed volunteer work, especially attending and helping at all of the Our Lady festivals and special events. She was the secretary for many years for her maternal, Lehr family annual reunion, which recently celebrated its 100th year. She enjoyed visiting in Florida during the winter months, but in her heart there was no place like home. Connie will be dearly missed, as she was a kind and gentle mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Hungary Church beginning at 9:30 until the 11:00 funeral Mass on Monday, January 28, 2013. The Rosary will be at 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Our Lady of Hungary Church. To leave an online condolence, visit our web-site, www.zahoran.com, or our Facebook page, Zahoran Funeral Home.
